December 21st 2012 marks the end of the Mayan long count calendar. A major cosmic event is suppose to occur during this time frame in which a polar shift could occur. The event is based on Planet X passing through our solar system. According to experts, it should be visible with the naked eye sometime in the year 2010. There will appear to be 2 suns in the sky. As the planet passes through the solar system, its gravitational pull will cause earths poles to shift. North will become south, and south will become north. This will have a drastic effect on our weather patterns. As the planet draws nearer and nearer to our solar system, you will begin to see major changes in the weater patterns accross the world.
